“Robot intelligence is one great path toward revealing how humans think.”
Yuli Wu leads the Physical AI Lab at the Chair of Imaging and Computer Vision, RWTH Aachen University. The group develops generalist robots that autonomously solve real-world, long-horizon tasks.
His research centres on learning-based robotic systems that perceive, reason and act in complex environments — connecting vision, language and control so that a robot can carry a task through to completion rather than executing a single isolated skill.
The group is recruiting doctoral researchers, and welcomes enquiries from prospective HiWis and thesis students.
